KOOLUX Display Hidden Features: From Beginner to Pro Rider
A walkthrough of useful KOOLUX display functions for riders who want more control over assist levels and ride data.

Understand assist levels
Assist levels are not only about going faster. They influence range, launch smoothness, and the load placed on the motor. In town, a middle level is often enough and makes the bike feel more progressive.
Save the highest level for hills, headwind, or loaded starts. This habit protects range and makes the ride smoother.
Read battery and range correctly
The battery indicator can move when the motor is under heavy load. A temporary drop on a hill does not always mean the battery is empty. Watch the trend on flat ground after a few minutes.
To estimate range, track your real distance on the same route and assist levels. Rider weight, wind, tyre pressure, and temperature change the result significantly.
Settings not to change blindly
Some menus can affect wheel size, assist limit, units, or sensor behaviour. Changing these values without a reference can distort speed, reduce range, or make the bike less pleasant to ride.
Before changing a setting, take a photo of the original value. If the bike feels worse afterwards, you can return to the initial setup.
